Men’s top seed, World #10 Joel Makin, has been forced to withdraw from the upcoming Hong Kong Football Club Open due to an ankle injury.
Egypt’s Mohamed ElSherbini will take the Welshman’s place as the top seed in the Bronze-level PSA World Tour event, which takes place from 21st to 25th November – but will remain in the bottom half of the draw.
Egypt’s Aly Abou Eleinen moves up to second seed, while recent Ace Malaysia Open semi-finalist Eain Yow Ng and Spanish #1 Iker Pajares occupy the 3/4 seeding positions, and Qatar’s Abdulla Al Tamimi is now a top-eight seed.
