It’s semi-finals day in Hong Kong, with the top four seeds in both Women’s and Men’s draws still in contention for the PSA Silver titles.
First up, at 15,30, the Legends – Nick Matthew, Gregory Gaultier, Simon Rosner and Miguel Rodriguez – will be playing singles matches to determine who will play in tomorrow’s Legends Cup finals and playoffs.
The first semi-final sees defending women’s champion Siva Subramaniam take on Melissa Alves for only the second time. The contestants in the first men’s semis are no strangers, top seed Joel Makin leading Victor Crouin 7-3 on the Head to Head.
Second seed Amanda Sobhy will be meeting Fayrouz Aboelkheir for the first time, while men’s second seed Karim Abdel Gawad will be looking to end a four match losing streak against compatriot Youssef Ibrahim.
